Dorm Drop

Dorm Drop lets you ship packages and small appliances to us up to 45 days before classes start. We store everything securely and deliver directly to your dorm on move-in day.

How Dorm Drop Works

There are three ways to use Dorm Drop:

• Ship Your Own Boxes: Pack and ship your own boxes (see sizing below). Contact us if your box is larger than our standard size.
• Order from Online Retailers: Have Amazon, Target, Walmart, Ikea, etc. ship directly to our warehouse.
  • Larger items like desks, chairs, or floor mirrors are counted as one item.
  • Smaller items like bedding, desk organizers, or electronics are combined into a Toterly tote and counted as one tote.
  • Online retail packages are removed from their shipping boxes before storage. This helps us save space, reduce cardboard waste, and fit more of your belongings safely into each tote.
  • Our totes are roughly the size of a large checked suitcase allowed by airlines, about 61" total (L + W + H).
• Request Store Pickup for Small Appliances: We can pick up qualifying items you purchase for pickup at:

  Please submit a separate form for each store pickup request.

How to Calculate Box Size

To calculate total dimensions, add length + width + height of your box. If your box is over 61" total, please contact us before shipping.

Step-by-Step Process

1. Submit the Dorm Drop Form: Tell us your school, shipping, and contact details. You’ll receive a confirmation email with our warehouse address and your unique reference number.
2. Ship to Toterly:
   • Include your reference number (e.g., #REF12345) on every label.
   • When ordering online, put the reference number in “Address Line 2” or “Delivery Notes.”
   Tip: Keep your reference number clearly visible on every box to avoid delays.
3. Track Your Items: We update your order status page and send an email update each time we receive or pick up a package.
4. Mark Shipments Received: Once everything has arrived, click the button on your status page to confirm. We’ll calculate your final invoice and enable payment.
5. Payment & Delivery:
   • About two weeks before classes start, you’ll receive a payment link and a short delivery details form.
   • We deliver to your dorm or approved campus housing area during your assigned window.
6. Move-In Day: We’ll email your time window and text you on delivery day. Dollies and help unloading are provided when possible. If a delivery is missed, we’ll reschedule or offer pickup at our warehouse.

Important Policies

• Missed Payment or Pickup: After 45 days from semester start, unpaid or unclaimed items may be returned (using your label) or forfeited.
• Oversized Items: Boxes over 61" total dimensions require prior approval. Please contact us for custom rates.

Pricing & Timeline

• First box or tote: $90
• Each additional box or tote: $25
• Includes storage for up to 45 days
