Toterly Summer Storage
Toterly Semester and Toterly Summer is our school storage service designed for Baltimore-area colleges and universities. We supply totes, handle pickup and storage, and return your items for fall move-in or whenever you return.
How It Works

- Receive Totes: After you sign up, we schedule a tote drop at your residence hall or approved location.
Our totes are durable and stackable—roughly comparable to airline checked-bag sizing (≈63" total, e.g., 28+20+15). - Pack Them Up: Pack your belongings at your own pace (see policies below).
- We Pick Up & Store: On your chosen pickup window, we collect your totes and any approved items (e.g., mini-fridge, microwave, large items), then store them securely for the semester or summer.
- Return: Before classes begin, we coordinate your delivery window and bring your items back—ready for move-in.

Or pack your own boxes (max total dimensions 61" — length + width + height).- Examples: bedding, clothing, books, dorm decor, school supplies
- Large Items desks, chairs, floor mirrors, bikes
- Small appliances (e.g., mini-fridge, microwave) — confirm dimensions/weight if unsure
What’s Not Allowed
- Perishables, liquids prone to leaking, or hazardous materials
- Valuables requiring special insurance (cash, jewelry, passports)
- Anything prohibited by your housing or campus policies
Pricing
Simple, transparent pricing with a 4-month minimum for summer and semester storage. Semester and summer can be combined where students are departing mid year (example December).
- $24 per item per month (tote or approved item)
- Semester and summer storage plans include a 4-month minimum. If items are needed before the standard return delivery period begins, additional fees may apply for early retrieval.
- Pickup, storage, and return included in the price
Tote Size & Larger Items
If you pack your own box that is larger than our standard tote, please share dimensions (L×W×H). Items over typical checked-bag size (~61" total) may require approval and a custom rate. Most large items can still be stored at our standard monthly rate; however, we’ll review the details you provide to confirm final pricing.
Policies & Notes
- Scheduling: We’ll send confirmation emails for tote drop, pickup, and fall delivery windows.
- Missed Appointments: Missed pickup/delivery may incur a redelivery fee; we’ll reschedule as soon as possible.
- Oversize/Overweight: Items exceeding standard size/weight may require approval and custom pricing.
- Payments: You’ll receive a secure payment link before tote drop-off or initial pickup; invoices list all items being stored.
